Established in 1988 from a small corner shop and extended two times to the present fully air-conditioned, disabled friendly premises.
The building dates back to 1800 having been the site of the Manse of the Church of St.Marys, now defunct except for the old cemetery by. The foundations and cellar date back to that period,
Following on to be a public house and lodging house, The Bricklayers Arms, by then being refurbished with Victorian brick.
Subsequently the whole building and adjacent property was a bakery, the split and made into a corner shop up until 1988 when the business was transformed into a specialty provisions store coupled with every day supplies.
The present format offers a totally unique service and availability of a diverse range of fine wines and deli foods from around the world, all coupled with customer led service and advise from experienced staff.
